A couple more reviews… one from twitter and one from a comment (thanks!):
This review Dave’s squarespace site.
And this review on Appmodo.
Thank you to both sites for taking the time to review Toobz. It’s incredibly gratifying seeing people talk about Toobz.

Toobz is a great game. One of the most addictive I have ever found.
What does it need? Water noises and music.
What if you could rotate tubes, at a cost?
Or what if you left them open too long, while building, worms or gophers would climb in and ruin that section? hahaha
Great game!!

Hi Andrew!
Thank you for the comments! I’ll be looking into sounds and possibly music in an upcoming version. I’ll also be looking at adding some different game play options… rotating is a popular request so I need to address that sooner or later. I’ve got an idea on what to do… stay tuned!
Thanks again!

Toobz,
Your game is very fun, but the scoring instructions do not reflect what is happening in the game in version 1.2.
The written instructions say that point deductions occur for each empty spot left on the game board but it does show the point deduction on the options page points list.
The points show you receive 50 points for completing a level, but I believe it is scoring 500.
Also, you may want to clarify the 75 points when water enters a spot. Do you receive 75 points each for a tube with 4 pipes in a plus sign, or just 75 points for each square.
Two suggestions to make this an even better game.
1) Show the point breakdown so the player can see how they have scored, not just the total.
2) Add an option to rotate the tube.
This is an app I would pay for.
Best Regards!

Hi Greg!
Thanks very much for the detailed comment. I will take a look at the scoring. I’d love to show the points as they’re getting counted, it’s just below a few other things on the priority list.
And fear not, everyone — rotate is coming soon! I’ve got a new game type in the works for 1.4!

Hi Sal!
Thanks for the kind words! That’s great that you guys are hooked on Toobz… I’m so glad folks are enjoying the game!
I have to admit that I don’t even know my high score… I install and remove Toobz so often on my iPhone that I lose my saved scores all the time. I’m going to sit down and play it tonight to see how I do… that 10,500 sounds like a pretty good score to me. Is that on Medium + Classic or Show Toobz? Toobz-Free or Toobz?
Anyone else care to share their high scores? I do have online scoring on my to do list… I think I’ll tackle it after this next release with the new game type.
Thanks again, Sal, and keep on playing!
